But most people know. If they've met Adrian and have had more than a single conversation with him...they know. He's a brute on the outside, aggressive and crass as a defense mechanism, but by night he volunteers at the orphanage and has date nights with his boyfriend. His coolness factor....is subjective.

[He's just glad that he was able to Do this. When he saw Misha in the maze...he nearly lost his mind. He wasn't sure how he was going to react, seeing him in the simulation. In reality, they're probably sitting in the center of a massive empty room...but for the time being, it feels like they're somewhere else entirely.
Adrian doesn't want to say that he doesn't think it's possible for Rosso to ever meet him. It's easier to think about hypotheticals. What if, right?]

He gives Misha's hair one last ruffle, trying his best not to linger on the image of him for too long as the simulation finally dissolved around them. It leaves them sitting in the center of the large room, back to being a Werewolf and a Manticore. It does at least mean Adrian is a lot softer to lean against as he reaches for Rosso's hand to hold.]
Wanna go back to my place? We can watch some more old movies. I think I got a couple you haven't seen yet.

[Maybe they can come back someday to reminisce about their idiots more. Adrian would suffer through all of Rosso's buddies if it meant he could see them again. That Adrian could see that annoyed look on his face, which he knows- 100%- is utter fondness for all of them.
Adrian gets up to his feet just a bit reluctantly, letting Rosso lead the way back outside. It's going to be jarring, leaving both Elrios and Perovskia behind, re-entering Ryslig the same way they left it.
But he thinks he'd much rather be here, if it means the two of them can be together.
